Refund Policy

NABIP Coastal Bend-TX makes financial commitments for venues, catering, educational materials, marketing, and event operations based on registrations and sponsorships. To ensure fairness and financial responsibility, the following refund policy applies. 

Event Registration Refunds

•    A full refund will be provided for cancellation requests received in writing at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the event. 
•    Refunds are not available for cancellations received fewer than seven (7) days before the event, including no-shows, same-day cancellations, partial attendance, or personal scheduling conflicts. 
•    Registration transfers to another attendee are permitted at no charge if requested at least 24 hours before the event. 

Event Cancellation by NABIP Coastal Bend-TX

If NABIP Coastal Bend-TX cancels an event, registered attendees may choose one of the following:
•    Full refund
•    Credit toward a future event
•    Donation of the registration fee to the chapter

Sponsorship Refunds

•    Sponsorship cancellations received 30 or more days before an event may be eligible for a refund less any unrecoverable expenses already incurred. 
•    Sponsorship cancellations received within 30 days of an event are non-refundable. 
•    If promotional benefits have already been provided, the chapter may retain all or a portion of the sponsorship fee equal to the value of those benefits.

 
Membership Dues

•    Membership dues are generally non-refundable once membership has been processed and activated. 
•    Exceptions may be made for duplicate payments, administrative errors, incorrect billing, or other circumstances approved by the Board of Directors. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction. 

Special Circumstances

The Board of Directors may, at its sole discretion, approve exceptions for extraordinary circumstances such as serious illness, death in the immediate family, natural disasters, military deployment, or other situations deemed appropriate. 

How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing and include:
•    Name
•    Event name
•    Date of event
•    Amount paid
•    Reason for the request
